Glass Steel Pipe

Glass Steel Pipes, also known as Reinforced Plastic Mat (RPM) pipes, are primarily reinforced with glass fibers and their products. They are made of basic materials such as unsaturated polyester resins and epoxy resins with high molecular components, and filled with inorganic non-metallic granular materials like quartz sand and calcium carbonate. The pipes are available in lengths of 6m and 12m, and are manufactured using three methods: fixed-length winding, centrifugal casting, and continuous winding. They are categorized based on the production method, pressure class PN, and stiffness class SN.

Glass steel pipes have been applied in industries such as oil, electricity, petrochemicals, papermaking, urban water supply and drainage, factory wastewater treatment, seawater desalination, and gas transmission, thanks to their smooth inner surface, low energy consumption in transportation, convenient transportation and installation, low maintenance costs, and overall low cost.
