When combined with polyethylene for waterproofing, it is also referred to as Waterproof Geotextile. The technical specifications of Waterproof Geotextile generally only calculate the strength of the fabric, with the strength of the film being disregarded! The standard for Waterproof Geotextile (Composite Geomembrane) is GB/T17642-1998. Technical parameters are identical!!

Woven Geotextile, also known as Woven Long Fiber Geotextile or simply Woven Geotextile, is categorized into Polypropylene Woven Fabric, Polyester Woven Fabric, and other fiber woven fabrics based on the type of fiber used. The production process of woven fabrics is similar to cotton spinning, but it demands higher standards for seams during construction – the standard requires that the seam strength must not be less than 50% of the fabric's strength. The thread used for seams must have corrosion and aging resistance, like the polyester or polypropylene fibers, and cotton spinning ordinary fibers are not allowed to substitute. This is crucial for the quality of construction.
