Ultra-pure Water Equipment Protection Measures
1. The pressure valve can only be adjusted after the precise filtration is started, and the pressure gauge should be checked promptly. Any anomalies should trigger an immediate shutdown.
2. When ceasing use, promptly flush the remaining fluid from the pipes with clean water. Failure to do so may lead to deterioration of the fluid, affecting the quality of the next shift's products. If necessary, remove the IV plastic tube and clean with a wire brush, followed by ultra-pure water treatment. Also, ensure the machine is wiped clean and kept dry and tidy.
3. Cleaning and inspection. Adjust the electrical components. What is ultra-pure water? Check the electrical connections for good contact and ensure they are secure and reliable.
4. Regularly clean and wipe down the inner and outer surfaces of equipment, including hard-to-reach areas, to remove surface dirt. Use ultra-pure water for regular backwashing of the filter cores in pure water equipment.

How EDI Works
The EDI module (membrane stack) is the core of EDI operation. A basic EDI membrane stack is composed of two electrodes with opposite electrical charges and multiple module pairs. Each module pair consists of a freshwater chamber (D-chamber) filled with cation and anion exchange resins, a positive membrane, a negative membrane, and a concentrate water chamber (C-chamber). The EDI membrane stack contains multiple module pairs. Inside each stack, there are two electrodes at 600V, which is the necessary voltage for each stack. The positive electrode carries positive voltage, the ultra-pure water generator, and the negative electrode carries negative voltage, with the current passing through 30 membrane units between them. Any freshwater chamber contains both cationic and anionic resins, equivalent to an 8-kilometer thick mixed bed. A positive membrane separates the freshwater chamber from the concentrate chamber towards the cathode, and on the other side, the negative membrane also separates the freshwater and concentrate chambers.

Ultra-pure Water Equipment Process Flow
1. Pretreatment System → Reverse Osmosis System → Intermediate Tank → Rough Mixed Bed → Fine Mixed Bed → Pure Water Tank → Pure Water Pump → Ultraviolet Sterilizer → Polishing Mixed Bed → Precision Filter → Water User (≥18MΩ.CM) (Traditional Process). 2. Pretreatment → Reverse Osmosis → Intermediate Tank → Pump → EDI Unit → Purified Water Tank → Pure Water Pump → Ultraviolet Sterilizer → Polishing Mixed Bed → 0.2 or 0.5μm Precision Filter → Water User (≥18MΩ.CM). 3. Pretreatment → Primary Reverse Osmosis → dosing pump (PH Adjustment) → Intermediate Tank → Second Reverse Osmosis (Positive Charge Membrane) → Pure Water Tank → Pure Water Pump → EDI Unit → Ultraviolet Sterilizer → 0.2 or 0.5μm Precision Filter → Water User (≥17MΩ.CM).
