Customized mold racks are designed with perfect layout solutions based on the actual needs of the enterprise, covering everything from structural selection to placement and dimension determination, ensuring the shelves are tailored to the specific requirements of the company, thereby helping to solve efficiency issues in storage management and goods turnover. So, when customizing shelves, what is the appropriate height, and are there any specific regulations for the shelf height?

Custom Shelving Height:

Since the shelving is customized, there is no fixed height, and the appropriate height depends on the type of shelving chosen by the designers for the company and the height of the company's warehouse. Currently, there are mainly two types of shelving: standard shelving and non-standard shelving.

Standard racks primarily utilize manual storage with heights around 1.8 meters, which is a suitable height. If customers have equipment like scissor lifts, the racks can be made taller, but should still be kept under 3 meters. Non-standard racks are mainly for forklift storage and can reach heights of several dozen meters, primarily considering the net height available in the company's warehouse and the lift height of the forklift.

Heavy-duty racking usage: Prevent top-heavy and bottom-light conditions; follow the principle of placing lighter goods on higher levels and heavier goods on lower levels.

Do not exceed the load capacity of heavy-duty racking: The weight of goods stored on each level must not exceed the designed load capacity of the racking.

Ensure heavy-duty shelving is used without exceeding height and width limits: shelf height and width are restricted, and the dimensions of the pallets and goods should be slightly less than the net space by 100mm.

4. Prevent collisions with heavy-duty shelving: Forklifts should handle loads with gentle care during operation.

When using heavy-duty racks and there is cargo placed on top, operators should avoid entering the bottom of the racks directly.

6. Prevent the use of non-standard deck boards (pallets) on heavy-duty shelves; U-shaped base is suitable.

When using heavy-duty racking, a special attention must be given when the height of the goods exceeds eight meters, as it requires corresponding loading and unloading machinery.

Due to the large total area required for the channels, the storage density is lower compared to other systems.

Adjustable in height, the heavy-duty racking is equipped with various forklift and stacker models, enabling quick storage and retrieval of various pallets. Each unit compartment can hold up to 2000KG, making it a commonly used storage method across various industries. Each pallet can be stored or moved individually without the need to move other pallets. It can accommodate various types of racking. The heavy-duty storage racking can adjust the height of the beams according to the size requirements of the goods. With high throughput and rapid loading and unloading, the matching equipment is simple and costs are low, allowing for quick installation and disassembly.
