Channel Buoy, Marine Pasture Vessel Warning Buoy

Buoy, used to mark shallow areas or hazards that could endanger navigation. Buoy equipped with lights is called a lighted buoy, used for aiding navigation in waterways navigable 24/7.

Shallow water channels are all marked with marine buoys for guidance, but with the increasing number of vessels entering Helen Port, the single buoy guidance is no longer sufficient. Therefore, it is necessary to directly install water buoys in some shallow areas and near the port. However, the waterway conditions of the Yangtze River are complex, with strong underwater currents and varying depths, posing significant challenges. Consequently, our company employs a mixed arrangement of buoys and floating buoys for installation. Every certain distance on the water surface, a large buoy is set for positioning, and underwater, anchoring or sinking stones are used for stabilization to avoid displacement due to water currents. Between the two large buoys, floating buoys with reflective stickers are used for connection and combination, creating a long-distance waterway, thereby achieving the purpose of waterway guidance.

1. The positioning buoy with warning function is a fixed aid to navigation, typically with a tower-like main structure, equipped with high-intensity lighting at the top. The Baite lights have a range of not less than 15 nautical miles. The Baite buoy tower has a distinct color on its surface, while the surrounding buildings and walls are all white, facilitating the identification of ships during the day.
