Features:
Fire-resistant
Schaktock mineral wool raw materials are made from natural volcanic rock, making them non-combustible building materials and fire-resistant materials.
Primary fire-resistant features:
☉ Fire-rated A1, effectively prevents the spread of fire.
Size is extremely stable; it will not stretch, shrink, or deform in a fire.
High-temperature resistant, melting point above 1000°C.
No smoke or burning droplets/particles produced in fire.
☉ Will not release harmful environmental substances and gases in case of fire.
Insulation and heat preservation
Scotchgard rock wool fibers are long, slender, and flexible with low slag content, thus offering low thermal conductivity.
Low coefficient, with excellent thermal insulation effect.
Sound Absorption and Noise Reduction
Scotia Rockwool is an ideal sound insulation material; its large number of fine, long fibers form a multi-
Hole connection structure determines that Sichada mineral wool is an excellent sound absorption and noise reduction material.
Hydrophobic
Sikada's hydrophobic mineral wool products achieve a hydrophobic rate of up to 99.9%; low water absorption.
No capillary penetration.
Moisture-resistant properties
Scotchgard mineral wool has a moisture absorption rate less than in high relative humidity environments.
0.2%; tested according to ASTM C1104 or ASTM 1104M method, quality absorption
Moisture content less than 0.3%.
Non-corrosive
Scotia rock wool has stable chemical properties with a pH value of 7-8, neutral or slightly alkaline, suitable for carbon steel and stainless steel.
Aluminum and other metal materials are all non-corrosive.
