Low-pressure steam exhaust muffler
I. Overview
The noise emitted by steam exhaust from steam boilers and other thermal equipment far exceeds the values specified in our country's "Noise Hygiene Standard for Industrial Enterprises" (refer to Appendices One and Two). To address this, our factory's innovative steam muffler series is primarily designed for effectively muffling steam exhaust from boiler turbines and other thermal equipment in industries such as power generation, chemical engineering, metallurgy, and textile manufacturing. Many industrial and mining enterprises use a large number of low-pressure steam boilers with pressures of 0.13 MPa and below, and there are also significant amounts of low-pressure thermal facilities in power plant thermal systems, such as back-pressure turbines, deaerators, auxiliary vacuum pumps, low-pressure steam pipelines, boiler continuous blowdown expansion tanks, and periodic blowdown expansion tanks. These equipment are equipped with lightweight, easy-to-install exhaust mufflers as required by the exhaust pipes. Guanghe Electric Equipment offers a range of muffler products tailored for different noise reduction targets, including the TDb type back-pressure turbine exhaust muffler, the TDy type high-pressure deaerator exhaust muffler, and other series of noise reduction products, which can meet the operational requirements of users.
Section II: Applications and Product Features of Low-Pressure Steam Exhaust Mufflers:
Low-pressure steam exhaust silencers are suitable for various low-temperature and low-pressure thermal installations, such as back-pressure steam turbines, deaerators, auxiliary vacuum pumps, low-pressure steam pipelines, continuous blowdown expansion tanks of boilers, and periodic blowdown expansion tanks. These devices are equipped with exhaust silencers that are lightweight in structure and easy to install, as required by the exhaust pipes. Guanghe Power Equipment offers exhaust silencers specifically designed for different noise reduction applications, including back-pressure steam turbine exhaust silencers and high-pressure deaerator exhaust silencers, which can meet the operational requirements of customers.
The TD series low-pressure steam exhaust silencers utilize the noise reduction principle of through-hole expansion and pressure reduction combined with sound absorption. We replace the small hole injection with through-hole expansion and pressure reduction to ensure smooth exhaust flow, and the composite sound-absorbing cover and sound-absorbing panels effectively absorb residual mid-to-high-frequency noise. The PD series low-pressure steam exhaust silencers are constructed with metal-wrapped through-hole expansion and pressure reduction pipes and small hole jet release shells. The expansion and pressure reduction pipes distribute the steam flow, reducing noise and preventing sound recurrence. The small hole jet release shells are small hole components with many holes, machined from stainless steel, which push the wideband exhaust noise into a region where human ears are less sensitive, accelerating the sound decay. Guanghe Power Equipment offers the following advantages with its low-pressure steam exhaust silencers:
1. The exhaust silencer features a lightweight and compact structure, easy to install.
2. Reduce noise without affecting exhaust flow.
3. The exhaust muffler's noise reduction meets the requirements of the "Noise Hygiene Standards for Industrial Enterprises," reducing the noise level at the outlet by 30-36 decibels (A-weighted).
Order Selection Guidelines
Our steam exhaust silencer series is meticulously designed according to the user's steam emission targets and requirements. To achieve optimal noise reduction, the product must be compatible with the emission target, steam parameters, and volume. Therefore, when ordering a silencer, the following parameters must be provided:
① Provide steam turbine model, boiler capacity, steam pressure, and temperature for thermal power plants.
②Applicable Use (e.g., for superheated steam exhaust from boilers or drum exhausts, etc.)
③ Emission Rate: T/H
④ Original exhaust pipe outer diameter and wall thickness
⑤ Should you require our factory to handle the installation design, please provide the original exhaust pipe routing installation diagram.
