Bus shelters are large items designed for long-term outdoor use. To facilitate on-site installation and transportation, the shelters are pre-assembled before leaving the factory, requiring only the assembly of components on-site. This method significantly reduces on-site construction work, saves costs, and eases transportation. However, it places high demands on the production of bus shelters, ensuring the fit of all components. Therefore, a factory inspection—trial installation—is conducted before shipment to identify and address any issues promptly. Do you know what is checked during the trial installation? Let's take a closer look below:
1. Structural Inspection
The construction of a waiting shelter typically involves several components such as the canopy, pillars, billboard, benches, and guardrails. The assembled shelter's advantage lies in its ability to disassemble into smaller parts for easy transportation. During the trial installation, it is crucial to check if all the shelter parts are complete and the structure is sturdy.
2. Parts Inspection
Parts are assembled on simple fixtures or assembly benches; during assembly, it is necessary to measure the outer dimensions, installation dimensions, and critical dimensions against the drawings at all times. After assembly is complete, the installation holes and joining panels should be processed. The positions of the installation holes and joining panels at the bottom of the bus shelter must comply with the drawing requirements to ensure smooth installation upon arrival at the site.
3. Smart Accessories Testing
As a professional manufacturer in Jiangsu, we certainly can't leave out smart bus shelters. Before the smart bus shelters are shipped, we need to perform these inspections: check if the wiring connections are correct, if there are any conflicts between the equipment and serial port resources, and test whether each intelligent module operates normally. Only after the trial operation of each intelligent module is normal can the shelters be shipped.
4. Process Self-Inspection
Quality self-inspection is a factory inspection we conduct on our bus shelters. We compare the bus shelter designs and process specifications for self-inspection, and only after passing the inspection can they be submitted to a full-time inspector for further examination. The bus shelters are only allowed to be shipped upon completion of the full-time inspector's inspection.
