CGM/HGM Non-Shrink Grouting Material / C40, C60, C80 / Self-Compacting and Self-Leveling

Non-shrink grouting material is made by using cement as the binder, supplemented with high fluidity, slight expansion, anti-segregation, and other substances. It can be used after adding a certain amount of water at the construction site, stirring it thoroughly. The grouting material features good self-leveling, rapid hardening, early strength, no shrinkage, slight expansion, non-aging, good water quality and environmental resistance, good self-sealing properties, and anti-rust characteristics. It offers advantages such as reliable quality, cost reduction, shortened construction period, and ease of use for the contractor. It fundamentally alters the load-bearing condition of the equipment base, allowing it to uniformly bear the full load of the equipment, thereby meeting the installation requirements of various mechanical and electrical equipment (heavy equipment). It is the ideal grouting material for the era of no-padding installation.

Non-shrink grouting material

1. Before grouting construction, prepare mixers, grouting equipment, formwork, and maintenance materials. 2. During the second grouting, the horizontal distance between the formwork and the base of the equipment should be about 100mm; the height of the formwork top should not be less than 50mm above the surface of the equipment base.

3. During the reinforcement and modification of concrete structures, sufficient grouting and ventilation holes should be left in the formwork support. The diameter of the grouting holes should not be less than 50mm, and the spacing should not exceed 1000mm.

4. When mixing cement-based grouting materials, add water according to the product's specified amount. It is advisable to use mechanical mixing. Begin by adding 2/3 of the water and mix for about 3 minutes, then add the remaining water and mix until uniform. The mixing site should be close to the grouting location.

5. Grouting anchoring for foot bolts:

When making holes for anchor bolts, the hole walls should be rough. The hole should be cleaned thoroughly, free of any loose dust or debris.Oil and impurities, soak in water for 8-12 hours before grouting, to clean the holes of internal residue.Before grouting, clean the oil and rust from the surface of the foundation bolts.   

When pouring the mixed cementitious grout material into the bolt holes, adjust the bolts as needed.Location. Vibration is strictly prohibited during grouting, slight insertion vibration is permissible. No further adjustment of bolts is allowed after grouting is completed.

6. Equipment secondary grouting:

Before grouting, the equipment base and concrete foundation surfaces in contact with the grouting material should be cleaned and dried.Clean; no loose gravel, slurry, dust, oil stains, wax, etc. allowed. The concrete base surface should be thoroughly moistened 24 hours prior to grouting, and standing water should be removed 1 hour before grouting.During the secondary grouting, the grouting should be done from one side until it overflows from the other side, without simultaneously grouting from both opposite sides. Once the grouting begins, it should be carried out continuously, and the grouting time should be minimized as much as possible.   

When the track foundation or grouting distance is long, construction can be segmented according to the actual project conditions, with each section not exceeding5 meters. If the base plate of the equipment has a complex structure, it is advisable to use pressure grouting.

Absolutely no vibration is allowed during grouting. In case of necessity, a grouting booster can be used, which pushes the grouting material along the flow direction of the slurry from the bottom, strictly prohibiting pushing from the middle or upper part of the grouting layer.   

After the equipment foundation grouting is completed, it is advisable to cut along the edge of the bottom plate outward after the grouting material has started to set.45-degree angle; if edge trimming is not possible, the surface of the grout layer should be smoothed with a trowel after initial setting.

7. Concrete structural renovation and reinforcement grouting:

The concrete surface in contact with the cementitious grouting material should be adequately roughened.   

Concrete structure repair involves removing loose concrete to expose the reinforcing steel, and cutting the edges of the repair area into a vertical shape.   

Before grouting, all debris, dust, or other foreign matter should be removed, and the concrete surface should be moistened.   

Pour the well-mixed grout into the mold and gently tap the mold.   

Curing layer thickness exceedsAt 150mm, appropriate measures should be taken to prevent temperature cracks from forming.

8. Construction and Maintenance Measures:

During grouting, the average daily temperature should not be lower than5After grouting is complete, it should be immediately sprayed with maintenance agent or covered with plastic film, and wet straw bags should be used to keep it moist. When using plastic film to cover, the surface of the cementitious grouting material should be covered tightly to retain condensation water inside the plastic film. If watering the grout surface is not convenient, a maintenance agent can be sprayed.   

Keep the grouting material in a moist condition; the curing time must not be less than7d。
