What factors can affect the calibration cycle of a combustible gas detector alarm?
Manufacturer Requirements: Different manufacturers may have varying inspection cycle requirements for flammable gas detectors. Therefore, when purchasing equipment, carefully review the product manual to understand the specific requirements of the manufacturer.
Equipment Usage Environment: The operating environment of the alarm directly impacts its inspection cycle. If the equipment is frequently exposed to high concentrations of harmful gases, high or low humidity, or high or low temperatures for extended periods, its inspection cycle may be shortened accordingly.
‌Equipment Maintenance Status: The condition of equipment maintenance is also a significant factor affecting the inspection cycle. If the equipment frequently encounters issues such as battery depletion and sensor aging, the inspection cycle will correspondingly shorten.

Calibration Method
Appearance and structure
Inspect visually and by feel according to the requirements of 4.1
Branding and Labeling
Inspect as per requirement 4.2.
Power-on inspection
Inspect visually and by touch in accordance with requirements 4.3 to check the 5.3.4 alarm function and alarm action values.
Introduce a standard substance of gas with a concentration greater than the alarm set point, causing the instrument to trigger an alarm. Observe whether the instrument's sound and light alarms are functioning normally and record the instrument's readings when the alarm is triggered. Repeat the measurement three times; the arithmetic mean of the three readings is the instrument's alarm trigger value.

What does a calibration report for a flammable gas detector include?
The verification results should be reflected in the verification certificate or report, and the verification proof or report must include the following information.
① Title, such as "Calibration Certificate" or "Calibration Report";
② Laboratory Name and Address
③ Calibration Location (if not calibrated in the laboratory)
④ Standby Letter of Credit or Report (e.g., with serial number), and indicate the page number on each page;
⑤Shipper's name and address;
⑥ Describe and clearly identify the school's target audience;
Calibration date and receipt date;
⑧ Technical specifications for calibration base, including name and code;
Description of the traceability and validity of the measurement standards used in our calibration.
⑩ Description of Calibration Environment
11. Calibration Results and Measurement Uncertainty Statement
12. Signature, title, or equivalent symbol of the issuer of the calibration certificate or calibration report, and the issuance date;
13. Calibration results are only applicable to the calibration object.
14. No part of the certificate or report may be copied without written consent from the laboratory.
Reproofreading interval
The recalibration period for instruments is typically one year, subject to the sender's determination based on actual usage. During the secondary calibration process, recalibration is required if there are doubts about the instrument's test data, or if the main components of the instrument are replaced, as well as after repairs.
