详情描述
Shenzhen Zhongnuo Testing Technology Co., Ltd. is based in South China and specializes in explosion-proof certification and coal safety certification application consulting services, offering one-stop explosion-proof technology consulting services.
Which certifications are the ATEX certification and the IECEx certification from?
ATEX certification is a mandatory certification for explosion-proof products in the EU, a specific explosion directive under the CE certification, applicable to the EU and regions.
IECEx is the International Electrotechnical Commission's explosion-proof electrical products certification system, which is voluntary and applicable to member countries of the IECEx scheme.
Most major economic powers globally are members of the IECEx system, and China is one as well.
In relation to IECEx and ATEX certifications, China Nu Inspection summarizes the following distinctions:
(1) Applicable Range: ATEX certification is applicable to the EU region, IECEx is applicable to IECEx member states.
(2) Is it mandatory? ATEX certification is mandatory, while IECEx is voluntary.
(3) Execution Standards: ATEX certification standards are IEC 60079 series, IECEx certification standards are IEC 60079 series
(4) Explosion-proof Marking, the ATEX explosion-proof mark is more complex than the IECEx certification mark. You can see it clearly from the examples we have provided.
(5) Conversion Issues: Currently, ATEX certification cannot be converted to certificates outside the EU. IECEx member states recognize IECEx certificates directly or indirectly, such as Australia and New Zealand directly recognize IECEx certificates. Other IECEx member states (such as China) can convert to local explosion-proof certificates through IECEx certification.

Division of explosion-proof zones in explosive gas environments
In explosion-proof certification, hazardous areas are classified into explosive gas environments and combustible dust environments based on the different states of matter present in the location. According to the duration of the presence of hazardous substances in the location, the hazardous areas under the two different states of matter are divided into three zones.
That is: for explosive gas environments, Zones 0, 1, and 2.
Areas with continuous or long-term explosive gas environments, usually exceeding 1000 hours per year.
Zone 1 - Locations where explosive gas atmospheres may occur during normal operation, generally 10-1000 hours per year
Zone 2: Under normal operation, an explosive gas environment is unlikely to occur or, if it does, it is only transient and short-lived, generally less than 10 hours per year.
For explosion-proof electrical testing institutions, Shenzhen Zhongnuo Testing Technology Co., Ltd. is a top choice. We specialize in providing on-site explosion-proof testing and modification construction services for various gas stations, gas stations, oil depots, food factories, feed factories, and chemical plants.
Our inspection services are conducted strictly in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including the selection, installation, wiring, static electricity, and grounding of explosion-proof equipment. Should any non-compliant items be found during the inspection, we will provide specific rectification suggestions to ensure your equipment meets the explosion-proof safety requirements.
Additionally, in accordance with the AQ3009-2007 "Electrical Safety and Explosion-Proof Regulations for Hazardous Areas," explosion-proof electrical equipment in use must undergo at least one explosion-proof performance, installation, and maintenance inspection every 3 years. Our experienced testing team and industry expertise ensure we provide accurate and reliable test results and improvement recommendations.
If you have specific testing requirements or need further communication, please feel free to contact us. We are committed to providing you with excellent service!
