In July 2019, the market issued an implementation announcement regarding the transition of explosion-proof electrical products and others from production license to mandatory product certification.
The announcement clearly states that as of October 1, 2019, explosion-proof electrical equipment, household gas appliances, and household refrigerators with a rated capacity of over 500L will be included in the CCC certification management scope. Moreover, a transition period of 1 year is provided.
As of October 1, 2020, the above products have not obtained the mandatory product certification and are not marked with the mandatory certification logo.

This means that in the future, companies applying for explosion-proof certification will be required to undergo the CCC mandatory certification, and will operate in accordance with the implementation rules of the CCC mandatory certification.

Product Drawings and Documents: When applying for a certification of explosion-proof compliance for intrinsic safety electrical equipment, the company should provide assembly drawings, circuit diagrams, printed circuit board layouts, silk screen diagrams, material lists for components, and label diagrams, among others. For non-intrinsic safety electrical equipment, the technical documents submitted for testing should include drawings that reflect the explosion-proof properties of the sample (including assembly drawings and component drawings). If the overall drawing can clearly indicate the explosion-proof parameters and structure of the product, only the overall drawing needs to be submitted for testing.
2. Technical Documents: Include company standards/technical requirements. The company standards/technical requirements for the products should be written in the specified format, and their content should not only include performance requirements of the product but also cover relevant aspects of explosion-proof: such as basic parameters, explosion-proof markings, environmental conditions for use, explosion-proof performance requirements, relevant tests for explosion-proof performance, and markings related to explosion-proof.
3. Additional Information: For products with adhesive bonding or casting, provide the model names, performance descriptions, and relevant process documents for the adhesives and casting agents. For plastic shell products, supply the material type and corresponding performance documents. Battery-operated products require the battery specifications to be provided as well.
