Proper maintenance of electric forklifts can extend their lifespan. During maintenance, it is mainly important to check the oil, remove air, and lubricate.
At the transfer station, it's best to inspect the oil level every six months. When refilling oil into rubber containers, it should be below the liquid level by 5mm, and the goods must be at the lowest position during oil addition. When replacing seals, air may enter the hydraulic system; place the lever in the lowest position and move the handle several times. Use motor oil or lubricant to grease the moving parts. Additionally, regular checks and maintenance are crucial; inspecting the forklift can minimize wear. Pay special attention to the wheels, axles, forks, lifting, and lowering controls. After each work session, the forks should be unloaded and lowered to the lowest position.
Electric four-wheeled forklifts inevitably encounter some malfunctions during their operation at handling stations. Understanding the most common operational malfunctions will significantly enhance the efficiency of using handling equipment.
