Our general production line for sealing strips is known as the sealing strip production line. Sealing strips are predominantly made from ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber. Rubber sealing strips are commonly seen in both daily life and industrial production. They can be categorized into single-extrusion sealing strips and composite sealing strips. The production processes for different types of sealing strips vary, as do the equipment compositions. The single-extrusion process is relatively simple and easy to operate, involving the use of a rubber extruder for the extrusion process. The model of the extruder is selected based on the size of the product. After the rubber is extruded into shape, it is then vulcanized in a hot air curing box to obtain the desired product. The single-extrusion sealing strip production process is simple and easy to master, requiring only one rubber extruder and three sections of a 10-meter hot air curing box. In contrast, the three-composite sealing strip production line is composed of rubber in two different states and steel strips. During production, two rubber extruders are used for co-extrusion, with the steel strips inserted into the three-composite die head to be compounded with the rubber extruded by the two machines. The product is shaped and extruded through the extrusion die head, forming the required shape and structure at the extruder mold. After extrusion, the product needs to be vulcanized in a hot air curing box, followed by cooling and processing. Additional equipment such as punchers, strip-cutting machines, and molding machines are required for further processing. The three-composite sealing strip production line consists of two rubber extruders, three sections of a hot air curing box, a molding machine, a strip-cutting machine, a puncher, and a steel strip storage rack. The entire production line demands a high level of technical expertise and production experience. Operation requires a skilled operator to handle the machinery.
