Closed-loop cooling towers, air coolers

The closed cooling tower main unit consists of components such as the shell, heat exchanger, fan, spray pump, water collector, water tank, and pipeline valves. The closed cooling tower combines the functions of an open cooling tower and a heat exchanger into an evaporative cooling tower, lowering the temperature of the process fluid to nearly the wet bulb temperature of the air. During operation, the process fluid to be cooled flows inside the coiled heat exchanger tubes, while the external spray system continuously moistens the tube surface. The water sprayed onto the tubes passes through a cooling PVC heat exchange layer before falling into the collection tray for recycling. Air is simultaneously drawn in and passes through the tubes and the PVC heat exchange layer, causing some of the water to evaporate. All the water droplets carried by the air flow are recovered by the splashwater deflector and returned to the collection tray. This process transfers heat from the spray water through evaporation, thereby cooling the tubes and the process fluid within them.
