Safe Operation Guidelines for Trailer Cranes

Operators must undergo professional training and pass the relevant departmental assessment before being issued with a driver's license and a special operations permit for crane machinery. It is strictly prohibited to operate the crane truck under the influence of alcohol or when suffering from any physical conditions. Additionally, unauthorized personnel are strictly forbidden from using the crane truck. 

2The crane operator should, according to the manufacturer's specifications, promptly carry out maintenance and care for the crane, conduct regular inspections, and ensure that the vehicle remains in perfect condition at all times. 

3Operations must be conducted according to the lifting characteristics table, adhering strictly to the specified lifting capacity and operational radius; overloading is strictly prohibited. 

4The ground where the car-mounted crane operates should be flat and firm, maintaining a safe distance from channels and excavation pits. 

5Before operation, retract the boom, hook, and stabilizers. Maintain moderate speed during travel and avoid sudden braking. Slow down when crossing railway crossings and uneven roads. Absolutely no coasting downhill in neutral gear; someone must supervise when reversing. For winter travel with the tow truck, ensure anti-slip measures are in place on the road. 

6Before operation, extend all the jacking legs of the vehicle-mounted crane. For soft or insufficiently load-bearing ground, wooden blocks must be placed under the foot of the jacks. Adjust the jacking legs to achieve the required level. 

7The adjustment of the support legs must be performed when no load is present, retracting the extended boom arms, and it is strictly prohibited to manipulate the support leg control valve during the operation.

13Operation of the winch should be performed slowly and steadily under normal circumstances; emergency operations are only permissible in special situations. 

14When performing lifting operations, the load being lifted should be avoided passing over the driver's cabin. No one is permitted to stand, work, or pass through under the work area, beneath the crane arm, and below the hook and the load being lifted. 

16When working near energized power lines, tow trucks should maintain a safe distance from the lines.

17During operation, the crane's hook and pulley maintain a safe distance to prevent over-reeling and snapping the钢丝绳 or toppling the crane boom. 

18During operation, the crane mounted on the vehicle is not to be inspected or adjusted. Unauthorized personnel are strictly prohibited from entering the cabin. .

19Drivers and crane operators must work closely together and follow the signals given by the signal person. Before operation, a horn must be sounded. If unclear or incorrect signals are observed, the driver has the right to refuse to proceed. During work, the driver must immediately stop if any emergency stop signal is given by anyone, and only after eliminating unsafe factors can work continue.

20Prohibit workers from riding on lifting objects for up and down movements. Hand contact with cables and pulleys is strictly forbidden during operation to prevent accidents.

21No items should be suspended in the air during downtime or breaks, and adequate lighting must be provided for night shifts.

22In case of issues such as leg sinking or the crane tilting, the lifting object must be immediately lowered, and the operation can only resume after adjustments and elimination of unsafe factors. 

23After operation, the crane arm of the vehicle should be fully retracted and properly placed, and the hook should be securely fastened. All braking systems of the mechanisms must be firmly engaged.
