The inner tank is made of austenitic stainless steel; the outer tank material varies by user location, following national regulations to choose Q235-B, Q245R, or 345R. The annular space between the inner and outer tanks is filled with insulating materials like pumice or aluminum foil, and insulated cotton, with vacuum being drawn.
