The working principle of an air-temperature gasifier

Liquefied gas is reduced in pressure through a pressure-reducing valve on the gasifier (typically 0.02~0.1 Mpa) and then enters a heat exchanger composed of aluminum alloy longitudinal finned tube bundles. It absorbs heat from the ambient air for vaporization, and after the removal of heavier components in the separator, it is fed into the pipeline.

Since the heat absorbed by the liquefied gas comes entirely from the ambient air, the gasifier should be positioned in a well-ventilated outdoor environment.

The partial frosting during the operation of the air-temperature vaporizer is a normal phenomenon and should not be cleared by external force to avoid damaging the heat tube bundle. Industrial users who continuously use gas should have a backup vaporizer for alternating operation to allow the vaporizer to defrost naturally.

When excessive gas usage results in the accumulation of liquid liquefied gas and its rise to the alarm level, the remote level alarm will trigger an audible and visual alarm. Simultaneously, the alloy float valve in the gas-liquid separator will automatically close to prevent overflow. After troubleshooting, the reset valve can be opened, and the equipment will operate normally.

Liquefied gas passes through stainless steel coils immersed in warm water, absorbing heat from the water and vaporizing, then overheating. After being desiccated and restructured by the gas-liquid separator, it is input into the pipeline network.

The safety valve on the gasifier is set at 0.6 Mpa, and the gasifier is equipped with a field display instrument for the liquid gas inlet and outlet pressures.
