Pure water equipment, due to its high requirements, may encounter some issues during use. Rest assured, many problems can be easily resolved once the root cause is identified. In this issue, we will provide a detailed introduction to common problems and their solutions with pure water equipment, for your reference and resolution.
1. Equipment water pressure reduced
Leakages within the equipment system, insufficient pressure at the high-pressure pump intake, air and water leaks, clogged filter cores, and high-pressure pump malfunctions can all lead to reduced equipment water pressure.
Solution: Inspect and repair the high-pressure pump and filter, eliminating the fault.
2. Increase in Water Pressure
Possible reasons for increased equipment water pressure include: incorrect adjustment index at the outlet of the high-pressure pump, and pipe blockage between the high-pressure pump and the reverse osmosis equipment.
Solution: Restore equipment pressure by adjusting the outlet index of the high-pressure pump and cleaning the pipeline between the high-pressure pump and the reverse osmosis unit.
3. Low recycling rate
The water flow is too fast, and the water pressure is low.
High Recycling Rate
5. High pressure at both ends of the filter core housing
6. The high-pressure pump experienced intermittent shutdowns.
It could be due to excessive outflow pressure or insufficient inflow pressure.
Water production volume decreased.
Water production may be reduced due to lower water temperature, decreased water pressure, and potential contamination and blockage of the reverse osmosis membrane.
Solution: Normal production is achieved by adjusting the raw water temperature and replacing the reverse osmosis membrane.
Volume of water production increases
The water fight on both sides may be due to the increased water temperature and pressure.
Solutions: Increase in yield at specific temperatures does not require management, but if the raw water temperature exceeds 45°C, measures must be taken to cool it down.
The simultaneous increase in conductivity of both permeate and concentrated water in reverse osmosis equipment may be due to fouling of the concentrated water pipes or the concentrated water regulating valve, as well as an overly high recovery rate, both of which can cause this issue.
10. If the equipment's conductivity of water is high at the same time the concentrated wastewater's electrical conductivity is also high, and the pressure drop per section is high as well.
Membrane elements' contamination has affected the flow rate of the concentrated stream.
11. High conductivity of produced water, increased pressure drop in containers, and low flow rate of produced water.
Membrane element contamination
12. The container has a significant pressure drop, with low water flow but increased conductivity.
Membrane element channel contamination or blockage.
Identifying the root cause, these issues are relatively easy to resolve. We hope the updated content from Qingzhou Yichuan Water Treatment Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. is helpful to everyone.
