Fiberglass reinforced steel (Glass fiber bar), a new type of composite material, which is formed by pultrusion and extrusion, with high-strength glass fiber, basalt fiber, etc., as reinforcing materials, and synthetic resin and additives as matrix materials.
Characteristics of fiber reinforced steel bars:
Lightweight: Just 1/4 the weight of the same volume of steel rebar; density ranges between 1.5-1.9 (g/cm).
High corrosion resistance: Resists erosion from acids, alkalis, and other chemicals, as well as chlorides and low pH solutions, with enhanced resistance to corrosive carbon and chloride compounds.
Easily cuttable and easy to install: The cutting disc can directly cut materials. We can produce various standard and non-standard sections and lengths as per customer requirements. On-site binding can be done with non-metallic tensioning straps, with simple operation.
Strong concrete bond: The coefficient of thermal expansion is closer to cement than steel, thus offering a stronger bond and grip with concrete.
High design flexibility: Elastic modulus is stable. Maintains size stability under thermal stress, allowing for arbitrary hot forming of shapes like bending; non-conductive, non-conductive, flame-retardant, and antistatic. Spark generation upon contact with metal is avoided through formulation adjustments.
Strong permeability wave performance: This material is a non-magnetic material, no degaussing treatment is required for non-magnetic or electromagnetic concrete components.
