Wastewater pumps are a type of centrifugal slurry pump, available in various forms such as submersible and dry types. The most commonly used submersible model is the QW type submersible wastewater pump, while the more common dry type models include the W type horizontal wastewater pump and the WL type vertical wastewater pump. They are primarily used for transporting urban wastewater, feces, or liquids containing fibers, paper shreds, and other solid particles. The temperature of the transported medium is typically not greater than 80°C. Due to the presence of fibrous materials that are prone to entanglement or clumping, these pumps are susceptible to clogging. Once clogged, the pump may fail to operate properly, potentially damaging the motor and causing inefficient waste disposal. This can have severe impacts on urban life and environmental protection. Therefore, anti-clogging capability and reliability are crucial factors in determining the quality of wastewater pumps.
