Eco-bags play a significant role in slope stabilization projects, primarily by reinforcing and treating the slope area before construction. This involves thoroughly cleaning out silt, weeds, tree roots, and garbage within the reinforced slope area, filling in as needed. For wet and soft foundations, measures such as drying, soil replacement, or adding lime can be taken to treat the slope foundation. For sandy soil foundations, 4% of the sand's weight in cement is added to the top 30cm of the sand layer, followed by compaction. Finally, the eco-bag foundation can be stacked on the treated foundation before constructing the main slope with eco-bags.
