Throughout the long-term use of glass greenhouses, the maintenance of seals on the glass exterior walls, skylights, side windows, and numerous electrical equipment, heating systems, cooling systems, and irrigation systems is crucial. We all know that no matter how advanced the equipment is, it requires regular maintenance and repairs by our dedicated staff to ensure optimal performance. This not only extends the overall lifespan of the greenhouse but also reduces our operational costs.
Experience teaches us that the maintenance of glass greenhouses is a crucial task that requires consistent effort and regular attention. Proper maintenance directly impacts production and yield, thus, it cannot be overlooked. What we need to emphasize is the sealing issue, as it directly affects the energy consumption of the greenhouse. Specific tasks include checking the integrity of the seals and gaskets, and examining for any cracking, peeling, or aging on the sealing parts. The edges of skylights and side windows must be inspected regularly, and any issues discovered should be addressed promptly, which is key to effective maintenance work.
The maintenance and inspection of the opening and closing motors, gearboxes, pull rods, various gears, main shafts, window shafts, and mechanical structural parts involve tracking and testing of the lubrication, regular inspections of the pull rods for any jamming, and checking the smooth operation of the opening and closing of skylights and side windows.
Regular inspections of electrical equipment and circuit loops: power cabinets, control cabinets, component elements, and cleanliness checks, as well as maintenance of sensitivity and cleanliness issues in various sensor systems. Remind that in the North and Northwest regions with strong sandstorms and long winters, the frequency and intensity of inspections and maintenance should be enhanced.
