The stainless steel welding technology utilizes the principle of tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding. It employs an electric arc between a non-melting tungsten electrode and the workpiece as the heat source, causing the stainless steel plate to melt and form a weld seam. The electrode, the arc zone, and the molten stainless steel are all protected by argon gas, which isolates them from air. Since argon is an inert gas, it does not chemically react with the metal or dissolve in it, thus preventing oxidation of the weld metal and loss of alloy elements. This makes the welding process simple and easy to control.
Electrical control equipment ensures smooth, polished weld surfaces post-welding, eliminating the need for secondary processing. A simple polishing step achieves a shiny, blemish-free finish, making the weld seam unrecognizable. Argon gas protection is used during welding, which has a low thermal conductivity, does not absorb heat at high temperatures, thus minimizing heat loss. The operating voltage is as low as 8-15 volts.
To accommodate thin plate welding, we have manufactured torches specifically designed for this purpose, enabling welding from 0.2 to 3 millimeters up to 6 millimeters. Additionally, we have designed and produced fixtures and walking mechanisms, thereby creating a complete welding system.
