The steel flap gate in the hydraulic steel dam, connected by hinge methods, will not suffer from being floated and washed away by floods; the hydraulic system further prevents knocking. Due to the rationality of the structural design, the distribution of the gate's load is balanced, meeting the requirements for large spans and high gates.
In the same span and height, the steel consumption is significantly reduced, eliminating the need for door slots at the upper gate and expensive opening/closing equipment. Since all components are produced outside the dam and only arrive at the construction site for assembly, the hydraulic system can be installed under water storage conditions, greatly shortening the construction timeline. Additionally, this approach minimizes the complexity and difficulty of dam construction. Depending on the on-site conditions, hydraulic坝 may require specialized supports.
Perfectly suited for rivers with high sand, stone, tree, bamboo content, and cold regions where conventional rubber dams are unsuitable. It allows for flexible adjustment of the dam height and overflow, controlling upstream water levels and discharge volumes; construction is simplified with a shorter project timeline. Compared to traditional sluices, it reduces the need for pier structures, numerous metal embedded components, and gate opening and closing equipment, resulting in less concrete work and significant cost savings.
