The格栅cleaning machine is widely used in wastewater treatment plants, stormwater pumping stations, water supply and drainage pumping stations, and at the inlet of water purification plants. It is designed to intercept and remove floating large debris and heavier accumulations (such as sand, small stones, etc.). Generally used as medium or coarse grating, this grating is particularly suitable for installations with a larger angle, such as 90°.
The格栅Cleaning Machine operates by the rake being in the open position, sliding down the guide rail. Upon reaching the bottom of the pool, the rake closure is activated under the control of the rake opening and closing mechanism, capturing debris. Then, under the control of the rake lifting mechanism, it rises along the guide rail to the waste outlet, where the skimming mechanism discharges the waste. Finally, the rake opens under the control of the control components, slides down the guide rail again, and continues the next action cycle. This cycle can be automated.
The primary process parameters of the grate include the grate spacing, flow velocity through the grate, and head loss. The grate spacing refers to the distance between adjacent bars. Grates with a spacing greater than 40mm are considered coarse grates, those with a spacing between 20-40mm are medium grates, and those with a spacing less than 20mm are fine grates. The flow velocity through the grate is the speed at which wastewater flows through the bars and over the grate. The flow velocity should not be too high, as it might wash away soft debris that should be retained. Conversely, a too low flow velocity may cause larger sand particles in the wastewater to accumulate in front of the grate.
