The desulfurization flue gas damper is a device used to connect the boiler system to the FGD system, affecting both applications. The flue gas damper serves as the inlet damper, outlet damper, and bypass damper in the FGD system. Under normal operation, flue gas enters the booster fan from the dust collector at the rear of the boiler through the inlet damper of the FGD system. After being cooled by the heat exchanger, the flue gas enters the absorption tower. The desulfurized flue gas is then reheated to approximately 80℃ by the flue gas heat exchanger and exits through the outlet damper of the FGD system into the chimney, where it is released into the atmosphere.

It is used in the inlet and outlet of the absorption tower in flue gas desulfurization systems, or in bypass flue gas channels, as well as in flue gas denitrification and dust removal systems. The air damper typically features a double blade structure with louvers, and when closed, a seal is inserted between the double blades to isolate and shut off the flue gas. The desulfurization flue gas damper is used for regulating flow in flue and air ducts, and within the 90° rotation of the damper, different positions can achieve automatic regulation through varying working fluid flow rates.
