The cableway utilizes suspended steel cables to support points and traction belts for new energy buses or trucks. The support frames for the support cables are typically constructed in the middle, spaced from the ground. There are various methods for installing cableways. Do you know the different methods for installing cargo cableways?
1. Double-line
Several steel cables are applied. Among them, one or two cables, which serve as the net weight of the crane, are not easily movable, while the others are responsible for propelling the crane.
2. Single-line
Utilize a steel wire rope, and also suitable for the crane's net weight and winch or hoist chair.
3. Reciprocating
An Aerial Tramway can accommodate only one crane at a time; one enters the mountain while the other exits. After several vehicles arrive at the subway station, they reverse their course.
4. Recirculation
There are several vehicles on the cableway equipped with crane mechanisms, powered by a continuous loop of steel cable wrapped around both the driving and bend wheels. Once the cranes or gondolas reach the end station from the starting point, they navigate through the bend wheels to return to the starting point and the circulation system. The Maokong Cable Car in Taipei City is a circular crane system.
5. Detachable trailer
Also known as a loose-coupling crane. The crane's claw is held onto the driven steel wire rope by a spring-loaded mechanism. Upon arrival at the subway station, the crane's clamp on the wire rope is released, allowing the crane to slow down after which passengers can board and disembark.
6. Fixed Sheave Type
Crane or hoist operations are normal; it's not easy to loosen the wire rope during actual operation, so all cranes on the same wire rope have the same speed. For some fixed rope-and-pulley systems, the cranes are evenly distributed along the strands of wire rope, which move at a fixed speed.
During the installation of the cableway, these methods are generally followed. Everyone can choose whichever installation method suits them best.
