PE Winter Pipeline Construction: PE Production Line Introduction

(1) After continuous milling of the strip-like leftover material, the movable fixture must rotate a few times before it can be withdrawn, at which point the milling cutter is turned off.

After cutting, the mating faces should be realigned again to ensure misalignment is no more than the thickness of the pipe.10%;

The welding temperature for PEX pipes is set at 220 ± 10°C. During winter, when temperatures are lower, it can be adjusted to 230°C. If welding is conducted below -5°C, cotton cloth should be used for cooling; if there's strong wind during winter, plastic sheets should cover both ends of the pipes to prevent "direct penetration," safeguarding against melting due to strong winds and ensuring the pipes don't stick together.

During the absorption phase: wall thickness time:≤8mm: 0.5mm curl; ≤8mm; wall thickness 16mm; wall thickness 1mm; ≥When 16mm and 1.5mm coils are present, the timer for heating time starts, not from when the pipe contacts the heating plate. The heating time is wall thickness × 10-13 seconds for winter settings.

 

One-minute cooldown required. The pipe cannot be fully moved without cooling to prevent breakage at the welding joints.

Welded joints should be allowed to cool naturally to prevent dust intrusion caused by water, which can lead to false welding of the pipeline.

After installation, inspect the welding results.The flanged joint is smoothly symmetrical along the entire circumference of the pipeline, with the flange bottom not lower than the pipeline surface; the flange is firmly smooth, free of impurities, holes, deformation, and damage.

Pipe Material Fortification:

Pay special attention to the soil excavated from both sides of the pipe trench, preventing stones from falling into the trench and impacting the pipeline. Additionally, backfilling should be done immediately after a period of construction. The backfill soil should be of good quality (or sand-filled) and must not come into contact with any hard objects (frozen soil). The thickness of the good soil filling on both sides and above the pipeline should be over 20 to 30 cm.

2. Pipe fittings with φ110mm and above should be reinforced with concrete to secure the joints, preventing them from being affected by water flow, ensuring the normal operation of the pipeline in the future.
