Suction dredges, also known as sand suction boats, utilize sand suction pumps as the sand collection component. They employ the suction power of the pumps to draw river sand or silt from underwater and then discharge it through the upper sand discharge pipe. What are the common faults and maintenance of the suction dredge motor?
The over-wearing or improper assembly of sand pump bearings leads to friction between the stator and rotor, causing damage to the iron core surface and further resulting in short circuits between the sand-washed silicon steel sheets. The factory loss of the Raymond mill motor iron increases due to the magnet separator manufacturer, leading to excessive motor temperature rise. At this point, it is necessary to use fine files and other tools to remove burrs, eliminate the short circuits in the silicon steel sheets, clean them, and then coat with insulating paint before heating and drying.
During the disassembly of the old winding, excessive force was used, causing the slot to tilt and open outward. At this point, the dredger should use tools such as needle-nose pliers and wood hammers for adjustment, to reset the teeth patterns. Additionally, hard insulating materials such as green shell paper and plywood should be added between the silicon steel sheets that are difficult to reset in the gaps.
3. Moisture causes corrosion on the iron core surface. At this point, sandpaper should be used for sanding, and after cleaning, insulating paint should be applied.
4. The high heat generated around this group of grounding can scorch the iron core particles or teeth. Sediments can be removed using tools such as chisels or scrapers, then coated with insulating paint and left to dry.
5. The core and frame of the sand dredger's sand wheel machine have become loose, so the original fixed screws can be tightened. If the positioning screws on the sand dredger fail, re-drill the positioning holes on the machine base, gently tap them, and tighten the positioning screws.
