Photovoltaic panel maintenance is relatively simple, but regular inspections and verifications of the equipment should still be conducted. The operation and maintenance of the photovoltaic panels from the Tianjin PV bracket manufacturer should comply with the following regulations:
Photovoltaic module surfaces should be kept clean.
Monthly, it is recommended to regularly inspect the surface of photovoltaic power generation equipment for cleanliness, and clean it at least once every quarter. When cleaning photovoltaic panels, pay attention to:
Use a dry or moist soft and clean cloth to wipe the photovoltaic components. It is strictly prohibited to use corrosive solvents or hard objects to wipe the photovoltaic components.
(2) Clean photovoltaic modules under illumination levels below 200W/m², and avoid using liquids with a significant temperature difference from the module.
(3) It is strictly prohibited to clean photovoltaic modules under weather conditions with wind speeds exceeding 4 levels, heavy rain, or heavy snow.
2. Photovoltaic modules should be inspected regularly.
For the unattended data transmission system, check the terminal display for fault alarms at least once a day; if any fault alarms are present, notify the relevant professional company for repair promptly. At least once a year, calibrate the sensitivity of the data input sensors in the system and inspect the accuracy of the A/D converter. Check the battery charging and discharging performance at least once a week. Regularly inspect the photovoltaic power generation equipment for normal operation monthly (including inverters, collectors, etc.). At least once a year, verify the ground and insulation resistance of the distributed photovoltaic power generation system. The photovoltaic modules must meet the following requirements; if not, they should be adjusted and replaced immediately:
(1) Photovoltaic modules show no glass breakage, backsheet scorching, or noticeable color changes.
There are no bubbles forming conductive paths to the component edges or any circuits within the photovoltaic modules.
(3) Photovoltaic component junction boxes must not deform, twist, crack, or burn, and the wiring terminals must be securely connected.
(4) The electric warning signs on photovoltaic modules must not be lost.
Photovoltaic modules and frames should be well-integrated, with the contact resistance between them not exceeding 4.
(6) Photovoltaic modules must be securely grounded.
(7) When working under conditions with no shade, where the solar irradiance is above 500W/m² and wind speed does not exceed 2m/s, the temperature difference on the external surface of the same photovoltaic module should be less than 20°C. For distributed photovoltaic systems with installed capacity greater than 50kW, an infrared thermal imager should be equipped to detect the temperature difference on the external surface of the photovoltaic module.
(8) Measure the input current of each photovoltaic module string connected to the same DC junction box under conditions of approximately consistent solar radiation intensity, with the deviation not exceeding 5%.
3. The operation and maintenance of photovoltaic inverters should comply with the following regulations:
(1) The inverter structure and electrical connections must remain intact, free from rust and dust accumulation. The heat dissipation environment should be optimal, and the inverter should operate without significant vibration or abnormal noise.
(2) Warning labels on inverters should be complete and undamaged.
(3) The cooling fans for the modules, reactors, and transformers in the inverter are equipped with a good automatic start and stop function based on temperature. There should be no significant vibration or abnormal noise when the cooling fans are operating. In case of any anomalies, the power should be disconnected for inspection.
(4) Regularly disconnect the output circuit breaker (grid side) once, at which point the inverter should immediately cease feeding power to the grid.
(5) If the temperature of the busbar capacitor in the inverter is too high or exceeds its service life, it should be replaced promptly.
