Water tanks significantly influence the energy efficiency grade of solar water heaters. As an essential auxiliary heating component within the tank, electric heaters play a crucial role in solar hot water systems. However, as a critical part of electric water heaters, safety is an indispensable factor to consider. In the market of solar hot water projects, what impact do quality issues with electric heating elements have? Drawing on our company's 26 years of manufacturing experience in the electric heating tube industry, I will share insights into the quality control of electric heating tubes from three aspects: raw material control, manufacturing control, and product type testing.
Corrosion presents challenges to electric heating tubes.
Due to our vast territory, water quality conditions vary across regions. In areas with poor water quality, severe scale and corrosion can significantly reduce the thermal efficiency of electric heating pipes. Metal pipe corrosion can lead to electric leakage in heating pipes, posing safety hazards such as personal injury, with unimaginable consequences.
Corrosion can also lead to perforation and leakage at the flange welding areas, resulting in secondary effects such as warping of floors after water damage, causing significant property losses to users. As a traditional product, the key to quality is not the product design, but rather the emphasis on ensuring the quality of the electric heating tube. Strict control over material selection and process control is the key.
