Technical Description:

Welding Technology

The entire rod should be free of any cracks, weld leaks, continuous blow holes, burrs, etc., with smooth and even weld seams, no ridges or valleys, and no welding defects. A welding flaw detection report must be provided.

2. Appliance Door

Electrical doors are cut using plasma cutting.

b. The electrical door and light body are seamlessly integrated, with no welded bosses at the door opening, ensuring high structural strength.

c. Features reasonable operating space; includes electrical installation accessories inside the door.

d. The gap between the door and the rod should not exceed 1 millimeter, and it should possess excellent waterproof performance.

e. Equipped with a specialized fastening system, it boasts excellent anti-theft features; the fixing bolts require a non-standard tool for opening.

f. Electric doors should have high interchangeability, with reasonable operating space inside, and provide 3% of electric door accessories

g. A securely welded M8x30 bolt is visible in the lower left corner inside the lamp post access door, which is heat galvanized along with the lamp post. It is used to connect the cable's PE wire.

3. Hot-Dip Galvanizing Process

The surface should be treated with hot-dip galvanizing for both internal and external surfaces, with a thickness of ≥75um, meeting the GB—/T13912-92 standard. The design lifespan should not be less than 30 years. The galvanized surface should be smooth and aesthetically pleasing, with a consistent color. After the hammering test, it should not peel or flake off. A galvanizing inspection report is provided.

4. Powder Coating Process

Outdoor high-purity polyester powder coating should be used, with white color (subject to customer requirements). The plastic layer maintains stable quality, resists fading and peeling. It has strong adhesion, is resistant to intense UV rays, and is suitable for lakeside cities and key saline areas. The design lifespan exceeds 30 years, with a thickness of ≥80um, meeting the ASTM D3359-83 standard. A spray coating inspection report is provided. The requirements for spray coating protection include a film thickness of no less than 40um, strong adhesion, no flaking, and no peeling. The surface is flat and smooth with consistent coloration.

5. Design Capabilities

a. Provide a load calculation report for the pole body, based on the pole design drawing and the required wind speed tolerance.

b. The extruded square steel used for the rod body must meet the corresponding Chinese standards for strength and surface structure.

C. Seal the lamp post to prevent water vapor from entering.

6. Verticality inspection

After the lamp post is standing straight, it should be inspected for perpendicularity between the post and the horizontal using a theodolite, with the perpendicularity to be less than or equal to 0.2%.

The design and dimensions meet the requirements, with an overall aesthetic and generous appearance. The rod surface is smooth and consistent, with even coloration. The galvanized layer is smooth and flat, and the powder coating has strong adhesion without peeling off.

9. The cable passage inside the lamp post is unobstructed, easy to thread cables through, and free of sharp edges, burrs, teeth, and similar conditions to prevent damage to the cable.

Category and Application Scope:

Monitored poles, also known as camera light poles, typically come in Y, T, or R shapes. Specific specifications can be customized according to customer requirements. Signal poles are commonly made from high-quality steel plates, shaped into an octagon or hexagon using a large bending machine, or assembled and welded from rectangular tubes. The surface is treated with hot-dipped galvanizing for corrosion resistance and then powder-coated. Suitable for urban roads, expressways, elevated bridge intersections, or T-junctions.

1. Basic Structure: Traffic signal poles and sign posts should be composed of upright posts, connecting flanges, shaped support arms, mounting flanges, and pre-buried steel structures.

2. The upright or transverse support arm is made of straight seam steel pipe or seamless steel pipe; the connection end of the upright and transverse support arm uses a steel pipe identical to the transverse arm, with a reinforced plate for welding protection; the upright is connected to the foundation with a flange and pre-buried bolt, with a reinforced plate for welding protection; the connection method between the transverse support arm and the upright end uses a flange connection, with a reinforced plate for welding protection.

3. All welds on the upright and its main components must meet the standard requirements, with a smooth and even surface, ensuring flat, smooth, strong and reliable welding without any defects such as pores, slag, loose welds, or incomplete welds.

4. The uprights and their main components are equipped with lightning protection. The non-electric metal parts of the lighting fixtures form an integral unit, connected to the grounding wire through grounding bolts on the housing.

5. The upright posts and their main components should be equipped with a reliable grounding device, with the grounding resistance not exceeding 10 ohms.

6. Wind resistance: 45 kg/m²/h.

7. Surface Treatment: Acid pickling and phosphatizing followed by hot-dipped galvanized spraying.
