Rod body corrosion treatment: The entire inner and outer surfaces are hot-dip galvanized, with a zinc coating thickness of not less than 86μm, rust-free for 30 years; the outer surface is coated with plastic paint, with a paint layer thickness of not less than 95μm, non-fading and non-peeling for 5 years.

Technical Description:

Welding Technology

The entire rod should be free of any cracks, incomplete welds, continuous pores, undercutting, etc., with smooth and even weld seams, no irregularities, and no welding defects. A welding flaw detection report must be provided.

2. Appliance Door

a. The electrical doors are cut using plasma cutting.

b. The electrical door and light body are seamlessly integrated, without welded projections at the door opening, ensuring high structural strength.

c. Features reasonable operating space; includes electrical installation accessories within the door.

d. The gap between the door and rod should not exceed 1mm, and it should have good waterproof performance.

e. Equipped with a specialized fastening system and excellent anti-theft capabilities; the fixing bolts can only be opened with non-standard tools.

f. Electric doors should have high interchangeability, with adequate operating space inside, and provide 3% of electric door accessories.

g. A robust M8x30 bolt is securely welded at the bottom left of the lamp post work door, which is heat galvanized together with the lamp post, used for connecting the cable's PE wire.

3. Hot-Dip Galvanizing Process

The surface should be treated with hot-dip galvanizing to prevent corrosion on both the inner and outer surfaces, with a thickness of ≥75um meeting the GB—/T13912-92 standard. The design lifespan should not be less than 30 years. The zinc-plated surface should be smooth and aesthetically pleasing, with a consistent color. It should not peel or flake off after impact testing. A zinc coating test report is provided.

4. Powder Coating Process

Outdoor high-purity polyester powder coating should be used, with the color being white (subject to customer requirements). The coating quality is stable, does not fade or peel off. It has strong adhesion, resists intense sunlight UV rays, and is suitable for lakeside cities and key saline areas. The designed service life exceeds 30 years, with a thickness of ≥80um, compliant with ASTMD3359-83 standards. Provide powder coating inspection reports. Protective requirements for powder coating: film thickness not less than 40um, strong adhesion, no flaking or peeling. Surface is smooth and even, with consistent color.

5. Design Capabilities

a. Provide a rod load calculation based on the light pole design drawing, as per the wind speed tolerance requirements.

b. The shaped square steel used for the rod body must meet the corresponding Chinese standards for strength and surface structure.

Seal the lamp post to prevent moisture intrusion.

6. Verticality Inspection

After the lamp post is standing upright, a theodolite is used to check the verticality between the lamp post and the horizontal, which should be less than or equal to 0.2%.

7. Rod appearance

The design and dimensions meet the requirements, with an overall elegant and generous appearance. The rod surface is smooth and uniform in color. The galvanized layer is smooth and flat, and the powder coating has strong adhesion without peeling off.

All fixed bolts and nuts, etc., are made of stainless steel (except for anchor bolts and nuts).

9. The cable passage inside the pole is unobstructed and easy to thread cables through. It lacks sharp edges, burrs, teeth, or similar features to prevent damage to the cable lines.

10. Poles meet lightning protection and grounding requirements; 2. Environmental temperature: -15 to 50 degrees Celsius; wind speed: 60 m/s; seismic resistance: 8 levels; corrosion resistance: 30 years.

Category and Applicable Scope:

Monitored poles, also known as camera light poles, are generally categorized as Y-type, T-type, or R-type. Specific specifications can be customized according to customer requirements. Signal poles are commonly made from high-quality steel plates, shaped into octagonal or hexagonal forms using large bending machines, or assembled and welded from rectangular tubes. The surfaces are then coated with hot-dipped galvanized anti-corrosion treatment and spray-painted. They are suitable for urban roads, expressways, elevated bridge intersections, or T-intersections.

1. Basic Structure: Traffic signal poles and sign posts should consist of a vertical rod, connecting flange, shaped support arm, mounting flange, and pre-buried steel structure.

2. The upright or transverse arm is made of straight seam steel pipe or seamless steel pipe; the connection end of the upright with the transverse arm uses the same steel pipe as the transverse arm, with a welding reinforcement plate for protection; the upright is connected to the foundation with a flange and pre-b埋 bolt, with a welding reinforcement plate for protection; the connection method between the transverse arm and the upright end uses a flange connection, with a welding reinforcement plate for protection.

3. All welding joints of the upright posts and their main components must meet the standard requirements. The surface should be smooth and even, with welding that is flat, smooth, strong, and reliable, free from voids, slag, loose welds, and incomplete welds.

4. The upright poles and their main components are equipped with lightning protection. The non-electric metal parts of the lighting fixtures form an integral unit, connected to the grounding wire via grounding bolts on the housing.

5. The upright poles and their main components should be equipped with a reliable grounding device, with the grounding resistance not exceeding 10 ohms.
