Technical Description:

Welding Process

The entire rod should be free of any cracks, weld leaks, continuous blow holes, burrs, etc., with smooth and even weld seams, no unevenness, and no welding defects. A welding flaw detection report must be provided.

2. Appliance Door

a. Electrical doors are cut using plasma cutting.

b. The electrical door and light housing are seamlessly integrated, without焊接 a protruding platform at the door opening, ensuring high structural strength.

c. Offers ample operational space; includes electrical installation accessories within the door.

d. The gap between the door and the rod should not exceed 1 millimeter, and it should have excellent waterproof performance.

e. Equipped with a specialized fastening system, offering excellent anti-theft features; the fixed bolts require a non-standard tool for opening.

f. Electric doors should have high interchangeability, with reasonable operating space inside, and provide 3% of electric door accessories

g. A securely welded M8×30 bolt is visible at the bottom left of the pole's access door, which is hot dipped galvanized along with the pole for connecting the cable's PE wire.

3. Hot-Dip Galvanizing Process

The internal and external surfaces should be treated with hot-dip galvanizing to prevent corrosion, with a thickness of ≥75μm in compliance with GB/T 13912-92 standard. The design service life should not be less than 30 years. The zinc-plated surface should be smooth and aesthetically pleasing, with a consistent color. It should not peel or flake off after impact testing. A zinc coating inspection report is provided.

4. Powder Coating Process

Outdoor high-purity polyester powder should be used for electrostatic powder coating, with the color being white (subject to customer requirements). The coating quality is stable, non-fading, and non-peeling. It has strong adhesion, resists intense ultraviolet rays, and is suitable for lakeside cities and key saline areas. The design life is over 30 years, with a thickness of ≥80um, compliant with ASTMD3359-83 standards. A powder coating inspection report is provided. Powder coating protection requirements: film thickness not less than 40um, strong adhesion, non-flaking, and even color. The surface is flat and smooth.

5. Design Capabilities

a. Provide a rod loading calculation based on the light pole design drawing, in accordance with the wind speed tolerance.

b. The extruded square steel used for the rod body must meet the corresponding Chinese standards in terms of strength and surface structure.

Seal the lamp post to prevent moisture from entering.

6. Verticality Inspection

After the lamp post is stood upright by the lamp post manufacturer, the verticality between the lamp post and the horizontal should be checked with a theodolite, with the verticality to be less than or equal to 0.2%.

7. Appearance of the Rod Body

The design and dimensions meet requirements, with an overall elegant and generous appearance. The rod surface is smooth and consistent, and the color is even. The zinc coating is smooth and flat, with a strong adhesion of the plastic coating that does not peel off.

All fixed bolts and nuts, etc., are made of stainless steel (except for anchor bolts and nuts).

9. The cable routing channel inside the pole is unobstructed, easy to thread cables through, and free of sharp edges, burrs, teeth, or similar conditions to prevent damage to the cable.

10. The lamp post meets lightning protection and grounding requirements. Environmental temperature: -15 to 50 degrees Celsius; wind speed: 60 m/s; seismic resistance: 8 levels; corrosion resistance: 30 years.

Categories and Applicable Range:

Monitored poles, also known as camera light poles, are generally categorized into Y, T, and R types. Specific specifications can be customized according to customer requirements. Signal poles are commonly made from high-quality steel plates, processed into an octagonal or hexagonal shape using a large bending machine, or assembled and welded from rectangular tubes. The surface is treated with hot-dipped galvanizing for corrosion resistance and then coated with plastic. They are suitable for urban roads, expressways, elevated bridge intersections, or T intersections.

1. Basic Structure: Traffic signal poles and sign posts should consist of a vertical rod, connecting flange, shaped support arm, mounting flange, and pre-buried steel structure.

2. Poles or transverse arm sections are made of straight seam steel pipes or seamless steel pipes; the connection ends of the poles and transverse arms are connected with pipes identical to the transverse arms, with reinforced plates for welding protection; poles are connected to the foundation with flanges and pre-buried bolts, with reinforced plates for welding protection; the connection method between the transverse arm and the pole end is by flange, with reinforced plates for welding protection.

3. All welds on the uprights and their main components must meet the standard requirements, with a smooth and even surface. The welding should be flat, smooth, firm, and reliable, free of porosity, slag, cold joints, and other defects.

4. The uprights and their main components are equipped with lightning protection. The non-electric metal parts of the lighting form an integral unit, connected to the grounding wire via grounding bolts on the housing.

5. The upright poles and their main components should be equipped with a reliable grounding device, with the grounding resistance not exceeding 10 ohms.

6. Wind resistance: 45 kg/mh.

7. Surface Treatment: Pickling and phosphatizing followed by hot-dipped galvanized and powder coating.
