Surveillance Pole

Parameter Description

Rod Height: 3000mm - 12000mm

Bearing shaft anti-corrosion treatment: Both inner and outer surfaces are hot-dipped galvanized with a zinc coating thickness of not less than 86μm, rust-free for 30 years; the outer surface is coated with plastic powder with a layer thickness of not less than 95μm, maintaining color and adhesion for 5 years.

Technical Description:

Welding Process

The entire rod should be free of any cracks, incomplete welds, continuous pores, burrs, etc., with smooth and even weld seams, no unevenness, and no welding defects. A welding flaw detection report must be provided.

2. Appliance Door

a. The electrical door is cut using plasma cutting.

b. The electrical door and lamp body are seamlessly integrated; there are no welded projections at the door opening, ensuring high structural strength.

c. Features reasonable operating space; electrical installation accessories included inside the door.

d. The gap between the door and the rod should not exceed 1mm, and it should have good waterproof performance.

e. Equipped with a specialized fastening system, offering excellent anti-theft features; the fixing bolts are locked with a non-standard tool.

f. Electrical doors should have high interchangeability, with a reasonable operating space inside, and provide 3% of electrical door accessories

g. A securely welded M8x30 bolt, visible in the lower left corner of the light pole's working door, is hot-dipped galvanized along with the pole for connecting the cable's PE wire.

3. Hot-Dip Galvanizing Process

The surface should be treated with hot-dip galvanizing to prevent corrosion, with a thickness of ≥75μm meeting the GB—/T13912-92 standard. The design lifespan should be no less than 30 years. The galvanized surface should be smooth and aesthetically pleasing, with a consistent color. It should not peel or flake after hammering tests. A galvanizing inspection report is provided.

4. Powder Coating Process

Outdoor high-purity polyester powder coating should be used, with the color being white (subject to customer requirements). The coating quality is stable, does not fade or peel off. It has strong adhesion, resists intense UV rays, and is suitable for lakeside cities and key saline areas. The design life is over 30 years, with a thickness of ≥80um, meeting ASTMD3359-83 standards. A powder coating inspection report is provided. Protective requirements for powder coating: film thickness not less than 40um, strong adhesion, no peeling or flaking. Surface is flat and smooth with consistent color.

5. Design Capabilities

Provide a rod load calculation based on the pole design drawing, in accordance with the wind speed tolerance requirements.

b. The forming square steel used for the rod body must meet the corresponding Chinese standards in terms of strength and surface structure.

Seal the lamp post to prevent moisture from entering.

6. Verticality inspection

After the lamp post is erected, a theodolite is used to check the vertical alignment between the lamp post and the horizontal, which should be less than or equal to 0.2%.

7. Rod appearance

The design and dimensions meet requirements, with an overall aesthetic and generous appearance. The rod surface is smooth and uniform, and the color is even. The galvanized layer is smooth and flat, with strong adhesion of the powder coating that does not peel off.

All fixed bolts, nuts, etc., are made of stainless steel (except for anchor bolts and nuts).

9. The cable routing channel inside the lamp post is unobstructed, making it easy to thread cables. It does not have sharp edges, burrs, ridges, or similar features to prevent damage to the cable.

10. The lamp post meets lightning protection and grounding requirements. Environmental temperature: -15 to 50 degrees Celsius; wind speed: 60 m/s; seismic resistance: 8; corrosion resistance: 30 years.

Categories and Application Scope:

Monitors poles, also known as camera light poles, are generally categorized into Y-type, T-type, and R-type. Specific specifications can be customized according to customer requirements. Signal poles are commonly made from high-quality steel plates, processed into an octagonal or hexagonal shape by a large bending machine, or assembled and welded from rectangular tubes. The surface is treated with hot-dipped galvanized corrosion protection and plastic coating, making them suitable for urban roads, expressways, elevated bridge intersections, or T-intersections.

1. Basic Structure: Traffic signal posts and sign posts shall be composed of a vertical post, connecting flange, shaped support arm, mounting flange, and pre-buried steel structure.

2. The upright or transverse support arm is made of straight seam steel pipe or seamless steel pipe; the connection end of the upright with the transverse arm uses the same steel pipe, with a reinforced plate for welding protection; the upright is connected to the foundation with a flange and pre-buried bolts, with a reinforced plate for welding protection; the connection method between the transverse support arm and the upright end is a flange connection, with a reinforced plate for welding protection.

3. All welds on the uprights and their main components must meet standard requirements, with smooth and even surfaces, and welding that is flat, smooth, sturdy, and reliable, free of blowholes, slag, loose joints, and other defects.

4. The poles and their main components are equipped with lightning protection. The non-electric metal parts of the lighting fixtures form an integral unit, connected to the grounding wire through grounding bolts on the housing.

5. The poles and their main components should be equipped with a reliable grounding device, with the grounding resistance not exceeding 10 ohms.

6. Wind Resistance: 45 kg/m²/h.

7. Surface Treatment: Acid pickling and phosphatizing followed by hot-dip galvanized electrostatic powder coating.

8. Traffic Signal Poles: Round, Conical, Variable Diameter, Square Tube, Frame.
