Parameter Description

Technical Description:

Welding Technique

The entire rod should be free of any cracks, incomplete welds, continuous pores, edge burns, etc. The welds should be smooth and even, without any bumps or undulations, and have no welding defects. A welding flaw detection report must be provided.

2. Electrical Door

a. The electrical door is cut using plasma cutting.

b. The electrical door and lamp body are seamlessly integrated, without welding any protrusions at the door opening, ensuring high structural strength.

c. Features adequate operational space; comes with electrical installation accessories inside the door.

d. The gap between the door and the rod should not exceed 1mm, and it should have good waterproof performance.

e. Equipped with a specialized fastening system and excellent anti-theft features, the fixed bolts require a non-standard tool for access.

f. Electric doors should have high interchangeability, with a reasonable operating space inside, and provide 3% of electric door accessories

g. A securely welded M8x30 bolt, visible in the lower left corner inside the light pole work door, is hot-dipped galvanized along with the pole for connecting the cable's PE wire.

3. Hot-Dip Galvanizing Process

The inner and outer surfaces should be treated with hot-dipped galvanizing to a thickness of ≥75um, in compliance with GB/T 13912-92 standard. The design lifespan should not be less than 30 years. The zinc-plated surface should be smooth and aesthetically pleasing, with a consistent color. It should not peel or flake after impact testing. A zinc coating inspection report is provided.

4. Powder Coating Technique

Outdoor high-purity polyester plastic powder should be used for electrostatic powder coating, with a color of white (subject to customer requirements). The plastic layer maintains stable quality, does not fade or peel off. It has strong adhesion, resists intense UV rays, and is suitable for lakeside cities and key saline areas. The designed service life exceeds 30 years, with a thickness of ≥80um, meeting the ASTM D3359-83 standard. A powder coating inspection report is provided. Powder coating protection requirements: film thickness not less than 40um, strong adhesion, no flaking or peeling. The surface is flat and smooth with a consistent color.

5. Design Capabilities

a. Provide a rod stress calculation document based on the light pole design drawing, as per the wind speed tolerance requirements.

b. The shaped square steel used for the rod body must meet the corresponding Chinese standards for strength and surface structure.

Seal the lamp post to prevent moisture from entering.

6. Verticality Inspection

After the lamp post is standing straight, a theodolite is used to check the verticality between the lamp post and the horizontal, which should be less than or equal to 0.2%.

7.杆体Aesthetics

The design and dimensions meet the requirements, with an overall elegant and generous appearance. The rod surface is smooth and uniform, with a consistent coloration. The galvanized layer is smooth and flat, and the powder coating has strong adhesion without peeling off.

All fixed bolts and nuts, etc., are made of stainless steel (except for anchor bolts and nuts).

9. The cable passage inside the light pole is unobstructed, easy to thread cables through, and free from sharp edges, burrs, teeth, and similar conditions to prevent damage to the cable lines.

10. The lamp posts meet lightning protection and grounding requirements, with an environmental temperature range of -15 to 50 degrees Celsius; wind speed: 60 m/s; seismic resistance: 8; corrosion resistance: 30 years.

Categories and Applicable Scope:

Monitors poles, also known as camera light poles, are generally categorized into Y, T, and R types. Specific specifications can be customized according to customer requirements. Signal poles are commonly made from high-quality steel plates, processed into an octagonal or hexagonal shape using large bending machines, or assembled and welded from rectangular tubes. The surface is treated with hot-dipped galvanized corrosion protection and plastic coating, suitable for urban roads, expressways, elevated bridge intersections, or T-intersections.

1. Basic Structure: Traffic signal posts and sign posts shall be composed of a vertical post, a connecting flange, a shaped support arm, an installation flange, and a pre-buried steel structure.

2. Poles or transverse bracing arms are made of straight seam steel pipe or seamless steel pipe; the connection ends of the poles to the transverse bracing arms use the same steel pipe as the transverse arm, with a welding reinforcing plate for protection; poles are connected to the foundation with a flange and pre-buried bolts, with a welding reinforcing plate for protection; the connection method for the transverse bracing arms to the pole ends is by flange connection, and a welding reinforcing plate is used for additional protection.

3. All welds on the uprights and their main components must meet the standard requirements, with a smooth and even surface, ensuring flat, smooth, and reliable welding. There should be no defects such as voids, slag, loose welds, or incomplete welds.

4. The poles and their main components are equipped with lightning protection. The non-electric metal parts of the lighting form an integral unit, connected to the grounding wire through grounding bolts on the housing.

5. The upright poles and their main components should be equipped with a reliable grounding device, with the grounding resistance ≤ 10 ohms.

6. Wind resistance: 45 kg/m²/h.

7. Surface Treatment: Pickling and phosphatizing followed by hot-dipped galvanized and powder coating.
