Galvanized elbow pipes are a type of elbow pipe that involves applying a layer of zinc material to the surface to enhance their corrosion resistance. They are categorized into two types: hot-dipped galvanized and electro-galvanized. Hot-dipped galvanized pipes have thicker zinc coatings, while electro-galvanized pipes are more cost-effective but have a less smooth surface. Galvanized elbow pipes are further divided into cold-dipped and hot-dipped varieties; the former is banned, while the latter is still temporarily recommended by the state.
In production, zinc-plated pipes are used for direct sales, with such production often used for bending. Another technique is zinc-plating after the production process.
