Specific tasks involve noise reduction for noise sources such as industrial equipment, transportation facilities, and construction projects, such as installing mufflers and sound-insulating covers; noise reduction and absorption design for noise transmission routes, such as setting up sound barriers and sound-insulating walls; and implementing protective measures in sensitive noise areas like residential zones and schools, such as installing sound-insulating windows and planting sound-insulating green belts. Additionally, it also encompasses noise monitoring and evaluation, as well as the formulation and enforcement of noise standards.
