On April 4th, as the powerful engine of the drilling rig broke through the soil on the south bank of the Nemuel River, the Pipeline Bureau successfully completed the country's first control engineering — the directional drilling crossing of the Nemuel River. The successful crossing of the first 1422mm diameter, long-distance, large-bore directional drilling in the country fills a gap in the domestic technology for horizontal directional drilling at the same pipe diameter and刷新es the domestic record for pipe diameter crossings.
The Nenmu River定向drilling project is a key engineering component of the China-Russia East Pipeline project, and it is the first long-distance, large-diameter directional drilling crossing in China with a 1422mm diameter. The directional drilling spans 752 meters in length, with a 1422mm diameter, X80 steel grade, and a wall thickness of 25.7mm. The crossing curve is buried at a depth of 27 meters. The construction employs a six-level hole enlargement technique.
By employing directional drilling for construction, compared to large-scale excavation, it can significantly reduce construction costs and shorten the timeline. It also helps to preserve the ecological environment surrounding the Naier River to a great extent, prevents the obstruction of the river's water flow, and minimizes the adverse impacts on the lower reaches of the Naier River caused by the river's water flow being blocked, aligning with the requirements of China Petroleum Group Corporation to build green projects.
During the 2018 Spring Festival, a total of 57 people from the directional drilling division of Naemoer River, including project management, on-site technology, and operation positions, remained on duty. This young team, with an average age of 33.27, demonstrated a burst of vitality and sharpness when united, reflecting the spirit of dedication to the nation, family, and community exemplified by the oil workers of the new era.
