The LK-10 series of open-type current transformers are suitable for current measurement, power extraction, and micro-computer protection in complete sets of equipment in AC power systems up to 35kV and 10kV. These transformers feature a compact size, lightweight, ease of opening, and easy installation, making them widely used in compact, fully insulated ring main switch cabinets. They are installed directly onto pre-connected incoming and outgoing cables, offering a simple and quick setup. They are extensively applied in compact, fully insulated ring main switch cabinets such as ABB-SafeRing/SafePlus, Schneider RM6/SM6, Eaton SVS, German GA/GE, French FB, and South Korean SS, as well as in modular substation and cable junction boxes.
This type of current transformer utilizes high-permeability imported silicon steel sheets as the magnetic material, featuring a split-core and low magnetic circuit loss. Its semi-circular core and secondary winding are vacuum impregnated with high-quality epoxy resin in a flame-retardant plastic shell, providing moisture resistance, stable performance, and no need for maintenance. During installation, simply place the two semi-circular cores on the phase-separated cable, secure them with a clamp, and integrate them with the cable for a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing appearance. Suitable for 10kV and 35kV cables with cross-sectional areas of 35mm² to 400mm².
