The Steel Wire Reinforced Plastic Composite Pipe, also known as SRTP pipe, is a newly improved type of steel-reinforced plastic composite pipe. This innovative pipeline is made from high-strength plastic-coated steel wire mesh and thermoplastic polyethylene (PE) as raw materials. The steel wire mesh serves as the reinforcing structure for the PE plastic pipe, with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) as the base material. The steel frame is securely bonded to the inner and outer layers of HDPE using high-performance HDPE modified adhesive resins, resulting in excellent composite properties. Due to the high-strength steel reinforcement being encapsulated within continuous thermoplastic material, this composite pipe overcomes the individual drawbacks of steel and plastic pipes while maintaining their respective advantages.
