The Gaoyuan "Gongmian" noodles have been famous since the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty and reached prominence during the Ming and Qing dynasties. As early as the early 18th century, the county government selected this type of dried noodles to offer to the imperial court, hence the name "Gongmian." Made entirely by traditional hand-pulling and natural drying, they have a hole in the middle and are also known as "hollow noodles." Our product is made with high-quality wheat flour, refined vegetable oil, and refined salt as the main ingredients. It is pulled through fifteen processes, characterized by its thinness like silk, hollowness like bamboo, easy cooking without becoming mushy, not falling apart when re-boiled, soft and crisp texture, and rich in nutrition.
