The Gaoyuan "Gongmian" noodles have been renowned since the Zhenguan era of the Tang Dynasty, and gained fame during the Ming and Qing dynasties. As early as the early 18th century, the county government selected this type of dried noodles to offer to the royal family, hence the name "Gongmian." Made entirely by traditional hand-pulling and natural drying methods, these noodles have a hole in the middle and are also known as "hollow noodles." This product is made with high-quality wheat flour, refined vegetable oil, and refined salt as the main ingredients. It is pulled through fifteen processes. It features thin noodles like silk, hollow like bamboo, easy to cook without becoming mushy, not falling apart when stir-fried, soft and crisp, and rich in nutrition.
