Product Introduction:

   The high-speed centrifugal spray dryer is a widely used process in liquid forming technology and the drying industry. It is suitable for producing powdered and granular solid products from suspensions, solutions, emulsions, and paste-like liquid raw materials. Therefore, when the particle size distribution, residual moisture content, bulk density, and particle shape of the finished product meet the standards, the spray dryer is an excellent drying process.


Equipment Process Technology:

Feature:

The spray drying process is fast, as the liquid is atomized, its surface area is significantly increased. During contact with hot air, 95%-98% of the moisture can evaporate instantly, requiring only a few seconds for drying, making it particularly suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials.

2. The product boasts excellent uniformity, fluidity, and solubility, with higher purity correlating to superior quality.

The production process of spray dryers has been simplified with convenient operation and control. Liquids with moisture content of 40-60% (special materials up to 90%) can be dried into powdered products in one step, eliminating the need for crushing and sieving, thus reducing production steps and enhancing product purity. Particle size, bulk density, and moisture content can be adjusted within a certain range by modifying operating conditions, making control and management easy.


Working Principle:

The spray dryer features an open recirculation, continuous flow, and centrifugal atomization. After being filtered by the primary and medium efficiency air filters, the drying medium air is drawn by a blower according to operational instructions and then heated by a heater. The heated air is then distributed to the main tower of the spray dryer via a hot air distributor. The liquid material, following operational instructions, enters a high-speed rotating centrifugal nozzle through a peristaltic pump, where it is dispersed into tiny droplets under centrifugal force. Inside the main tower of the spray dryer, these tiny droplets are dried upon sufficient contact with hot air, undergoing heat exchange along a specific path. The dried product is then separated using a cyclone separator, collecting the solid material, while the gas medium is filtered and discharged. The entire spray system is easy to clean, has no dead corners, and meets GMP requirements.


Application Scope:

Chemical Products:Alumina chloride, dispersible dyes, reactive dyes, organic catalysts, white carbon black, laundry detergents, zinc sulfate, silicon dioxide, sodium metasilicate, potassium fluoride, calcium carbonate, potassium sulfate, inorganic catalysts, various waste liquids.

Food:Amino acids, vitamins, egg powder, bone meal, seasonings, protein, milk powder, blood meal, soy sauce powder, coffee, tea, glucose, potassium sorbate, pectin, flavorings and fragrances, vegetable juices, yeast, starches, etc.

Ceramics:Alumina, zirconia, magnesium oxide, titanium oxide, magnesium titanate, clay, kaolin, various ferrites, and metal oxides.


Key Points:

1. Contact between hot air stream and mist droplets: When an adequate amount of hot air stream enters the spray drying chamber, the direction and angle of the hot air stream must be considered. Whether it is concurrent, countercurrent, or mixed flow, ensure sufficient contact with the mist droplets to facilitate a full thermal exchange.

2. Atomization: The atomization system of the spray dryer must ensure uniform distribution of droplet sizes, which is crucial. This is essential to guarantee the pass rate of product quality.
