Product Introduction
With the development of urban industry, thermal pipelines and petrochemical pipelines are increasingly being updated, especially in recent years, with many long-distance compensating pipelines and three-dimensional pipelines emerging. These pipelines require numerous fixed supports during installation, leading to high construction costs. Particularly in space networks, setting up fixed supports is extremely challenging, and in some cases, impossible, severely affecting the design and development of the pipeline network. Our company has developed rotating compensators in response to market demands.
The rotary compensator is composed of a reducing elbow, an inner sleeve, a sealing seat housing, flexible graphite packing, a combination of nuts, bolts, and springs, and a packing cover, all equipped with corresponding ball bearings. The rotary compensator is made by first molding the sealing material using a press, with the molding density not too dense to maintain plasticity. Then, the packing ring is placed N times (determined by product specifications) into the packing cavity, some anti-oxidation ingredients are added, and the packing ring is re-molded under certain pressure using an oil press (which exceeds manual wrench technology in both force and uniformity), allowing the packing rings to become one integrated unit. This increases the packing density, improves the sealing performance of the packing, and ensures that the product will not leak for 15-20 years.
【Structural Features】
Our company employs the most advanced and reliable sealing technology and dual-combination sealing structure. This product design is rational, structurally unique, has no thrust, provides excellent sealing, and offers a large compensation capacity, featuring all characteristics of various compensators. It is widely used in reservoir water intake, water supply, petrochemical, power, metallurgy, textile, and construction fields.
Rotary Compensator: Composed of a rotating inner sleeve, stuffing gland, bolted flange, guide centering ring, shaped flexible graphite sealing material, sealing pressure ring, sealing seat housing, end pipe, bolts, and nuts. Features include no thrust, large compensation capacity, and no leakage.
It should be noted that conventional rotating compensators use reducing elbows as connections to save costs and facilitate processing. However, reducing elbows can cause eddies and flow resistance in hot network pipelines, affecting the flow velocity, flow rate, and pressure of the pipeline. Moreover, the dimensional and positional tolerances of the connections are often large, making it difficult to ensure the quality of pipeline welding. Therefore, all of our company's thrust rotating compensator series have changed the reducing elbow connections to straight pipe connections with the same nominal diameter as the pipeline, fundamentally eliminating such issues and receiving positive feedback from users.
【Installation Guide】
1. This compensator is specifically designed for pump ship pipelines. During welding, the pipeline joints should be beveled. After welding, an ultrasound inspection should be conducted according to pressure vessel requirements, followed by hydrostatic testing. During the test, the sealing components should be adjusted to prevent leakage, ensuring uniform stress distribution on all parts. A torque wrench should be used.
2. The suspension bridge supports are installed according to the design, allowing for axial expansion and contraction to ensure lateral displacement of the pipeline. Compensators are generally installed near the suspension bridge supports, and guide supports should be set on the movable side. Fixed supports must be installed at pipeline bends.
3. The thermal insulation and waterproof structure of the compensator can be the same as the pipeline, but should not exert any restraint on the expansion joint.
4. This compensator can be installed at any temperature without any need for pre-tension or pre-pressure. The sleeve will not loosen; simply tighten the clamping bolt if it does.
