Wood
The wood used for fire-resistant doors must comply with the material requirements for Grade II (medium) wood as specified in Article 5.1.1.1 of JG/T 122-2000.
The wood used for fire-resistant doors should be flame-retardant wood or composite materials wrapped with fire-resistant panels, and must be inspected by a nationally recognized and authorized testing institution according to GB/T 8625-2005 standards, meeting the requirements of Chapter 7 for flame retardancy.
The moisture content of the wood used in fire-resistant doors should not exceed 12% after flame-retardant treatment and drying; the moisture content of the wood after manufacturing the fire-resistant doors should not exceed the local equilibrium moisture content.
Laminated Wood
The fire-resistant door should use plywood that complies with the material requirements for Grade II (medium) plywood as specified in Clause 5.1.2.2 of JG/T 122-2000.
The artificial board used in fire-resistant doors should be tested by a nationally recognized and authorized testing institution in accordance with GB/T 8625-2005, and meet the flame-retardant requirements specified in Chapter 7 of the standard.
The moisture content of the flame-retardant treated plywood used in fire doors, after drying, should not exceed 12%; the moisture content of the plywood after being made into fire doors should not exceed the local equilibrium moisture content.
Steel
Material: The door frame and panel should be made of steel material with performance not less than cold-rolled thin steel plate, which should comply with GB/T.
