Steel silos are increasingly utilized across various fields, and customers' demands for quality are also rising. However, we must pay attention to key points throughout the application process, as details ultimately determine success, enabling us to successfully complete our tasks.
1. To prevent frequent malfunctions and extend the lifespan of steel plate silos, it's not only crucial to ensure the silos' quality meets standards but also to strictly adhere to reliable operational procedures and schedule regular maintenance and repairs.
2. As operation staff, prior to conducting operations on steel plate silos, a technical training of the operation system must be carried out. Only after passing the training can practical operation be performed, which helps prevent common malfunctions caused by improper operations, thereby ensuring normal usage.
3. After the steel plate silo is completed, if material needs to be loaded into the silo, it can be done in stages. The initial loading should not exceed half of the design capacity. After 4 weeks, inspect the settlement of the foundation of the silo. Once the settlement is even, proceed with the second stage of loading, which should not exceed two-thirds of the total capacity. Then, after another two weeks, proceed with the third stage of loading. Additionally, during the loading process, pay attention to the distribution of stored materials in the steel plate silo to prevent errors in material levels.
4. Do not randomly drill holes or add load-bearing capacity to the steel silo walls. The silo body must not be connected or supported by the bucket elevator structure and its machinery and equipment. Within approximately 5 meters around the completed steel silo, excavation of the foundation pit and any activities that may affect it are prohibited.
