The LXC-350 Industrial Centrifugal Extractor is a new type of fast and efficient liquid-liquid extraction separation equipment. It boasts higher separation efficiency compared to traditional extraction equipment such as extraction tanks and columns, making it more conducive to continuous production.
The centrifugal extraction machine operates by using a motor to drive a drum to rotate at high speed. The two liquids to be mixed and separated are mixed and transferred through the shearing force generated by the impeller blades. Then, they are rapidly separated under the centrifugal force produced by the high-speed rotation of the drum.
The centrifugal extraction unit can be used individually or in a multi-stage series for countercurrent extraction. It boasts high mass transfer efficiency, short two-phase residence time, and minimal retention volume. Operation is straightforward, allowing for variable speed, flow ratio, and mixing intensity as needed.

Mixed process
Light and heavy phase materials are fed into the mixer zone of the equipment through the feed port at the bottom of the centrifugal extractor, in accordance with the required ratio by the feed pump. The high-speed motor drives the mixing structure, rapidly blending and dispersing the light and heavy phases, thereby completing the mixing and mass transfer process.
Separation process
The mixed liquid enters the drum under the action of the vortex disc or feeder, and quickly synchronizes with the drum rotation within the cavity formed on the drum's web. Under the influence of centrifugal force, the denser heavy-phase liquid gradually moves away from the drum center towards the drum wall as it rises; conversely, the lighter, less dense liquid phase moves away from the drum wall towards the center. After clarification, the two liquid phases are separated through their respective weir plates into the collection chamber and then discharged via the heavy and light phase outlets, completing the two-phase separation process.
