Brownish, pasty or powdery substances dissolve in water. They are produced by oxidizing paraffin at high temperatures, followed by the formation of C5-C32 fatty acids, then saponification separation, and finally flash distillation purification. Mainly used as collectors and frothers in non-ferrous and ferrous metal mines, as well as non-metallic mines, suitable for phosphate mines (volcanic rock, collophane), tungsten mines (molybdenite, cassiterite), fluorite, spodumene, molybdenite, hematite, bauxite, etc. They can also be used as concrete foaming agents.
Paraffin soap, containing long-chain fatty acids C18-C32 and above, can form complexes with various mineral metals, significantly enhancing the hydrophobicity of the mineral surface. It also possesses good foaming properties, thus serving as a substitute for anionic collectors in various fatty acid soap classes, and is used in the flotation process of numerous mineral products.
This product is primarily used as a flotation reagent for non-ferrous and ferrous metal oxides. It boasts excellent flotation and collecting properties for non-ferrous metals and ores, with good mobility, easy water solubility, strong cleaning ability, non-toxicity, and good biodegradability. It is one of the widely-used products for flotation of white钨mines, commonly known as paraffin wax soap or 731 flotation reagent. It is affordably priced and convenient to use.
